Finally - wedding of the much awaited cousin - Ate Leslie :)

July 5, 2012...The night before it was the three of us, me, the bride-to-be and my sister Jane stayed at The Bellevue Hotel. :) It was a good night rest for all of us before the wedding preps. :)

July 6, 2012 - THE WEDDING!!!
Ate Leslie, one of the cousins were waiting to be wed, finally tied the knot! :) And this is my first time to actually be part of the wedding entourage. Usually it's my sister Rhea since she's the more dalaga than me before and I'm like the little girl. But now, I'm the young maarti lady. :P

I'm so happy for her coz she's on the stage where both of them are stable, have a car and a house and both have careers - a really planned wedding. Hopefully a baby on the way soon. ;) Another thing is we get to bond with our cousins again. having the busy time really kept us apart and it's nice to have small talks once in awhile.

On the reception, I got the bouquet. I didn't intend to, hahaha of course I have no plans of getting married soon, but then it was definitely intended by the DJ!!! The twist goes like we are to pass the bouquet and once the music stops she's the one who will hold it. I have no plans and that was supposed to be given to Ate Venus - the next in line. :P The one who caught the garter was the one my partner from entourage. Anyway, it was a nice experience but definitely i'm not next!!! Hahahah I still have to enjoy my single life. :P

Here are some pics for viewing. :) I was hoping to get some from the couple but no pictures posted yet. but enjoy! :)

Night before the wedding...no frizz-no make ups!

IRD breakfast with my sister :)

Family Together is Happy Together

The highlight of my life this year is having my family as a whole again. After 12 long years, we finally got our family picture once again. I am really looking forward to this. Last 2012, for 10 days my family became complete and it happened after 12 years, wherein two have their husbands, one engaged, left two single ladies, and all career-oriented woman.

It was a great bonding, having time to travel together and to reminisce about almost everything. Although it was again just a short time, from June 11-23, but still it was soo0oooo worth it.

Before, I'm always the baby, now baby damulag na hahaha...Bunsoy padin pero mas umaarti! Ate Jane always the bully and now girl na girl ang peg. Ate Rhea, as always, the pikon and kikay ate, and because of her beliefs di tuloy maka-arti especially with clothes :P. Ate Sheryl the baby girl of Daddy, ayun baby damulag nadin. Ate Nemia is still the ATE to all of us. It was so nice being with this girls and we miss each other so much.

I wonder when will this happen again, hopefully not another 12 years.

I won

Palawan : DIY Itinerary Day 4

Our last day. :(

Well all good things comes to an end but of course a happy ending for all of us. :)

On our last day, we had a good night sleep, no need to stress ourselves out to wake up early morning. We did packed our things and we headed at Ka Lui's Restaurant for lunch. Well as a reminder there should be a reservation for this restaurant and so, I called in for a reservation the night before. I wouldn't miss this restaurant.

Definitely a great place, it's so simple in and out. Feels like your in your own home. You have to remove your footwear upon entering and there you'll discover the great place. They have couches and tables that you can choose. they have good food and the ambiance itself is so relaxing. We were first to arrive in the restaurant and after a few minutes it's fully booked. Amazing, how a small place can be so popular.

After our lunch we went to Robinson's Place, to unwind and to relax for a few hours since Kuya Ruel is not feeling well, we just decided to roam around the mall. We waited until it's out time to depart the hotel. We went back and get our things then we depart at the airport around 5PM. A very tiring tour but the best part of it is that we're complete once again and we did had a lot of fun and whole new experiences. :)

I wonder when will this happen again, hopefully not again after 12 years. :(

Palawan : DIY Itinerary Day 3

DAY 3 for our Palawan Family trip. For our 3rd day, we woke up early morning had our packed breakfast with us and head on to our first stop - Underground River. :)

For a normal tour package of Underground River it would cost php1500 / head if we are 9 in total that would cost us around = php13500. But again budget wisely I became the tour agent for our family and for the total Underground River package it summed up to = php

Breakdown:

PHP 3000 - Van rental
PHP 1800 - Lunch buffet (9 persons)
PHP 1575 - Permit (175 / head)
PHP 1400 - Boat rental (700/boat - maximum of 6 persons only)
PHP 360 - Environmental fee (40/head)
PHP 27 - Wharfage dues for Port of Sabang (3/head)
--------------------------------------------------
PHP 8162 - Total expenses
PHP 5338 - Total savings

In the Underground Tour it was really nice, of course I'm the busy person arranging all the necessary fees to be collected and then all the permits, etc. When we had our boat ride upon arriving at Sabang area, we were given helmets and life vest for safety then took some pictures everywhere.

The tour itself is very educational and I love how the tour guide shows different figures from the formed stalagmites and stalactites. Since I am not in my adventure attire I was not able to join my sisters in their zipline adventure. :( Too bad next time always be prepared, pinairal kasi ang kakikayan. :( But it's okay I spent time roaming around the area looking for some pasalubongs in their tiangge. :)

After my sisters' zipline adventure we ate at a nearby restaurant for buffet lunch and yes, we didn't pass the chance to taste their famous TAMILOK. Well it looks like a worm but it's not. It actually came from the mollusk family which is why it tasted like squid. Trying to be local again that's why I tasted it. :)

When we headed back to the hotel in the afternoon, I guess we were all tired, we had the chance to roam the city side my parents took a nap. We again had some snack at the hotel and some refreshments. After resting for a couple of hours, we're all recharged again and excited for a new trip. This time it's a night adventure. A time to learn and relax with the company of the fireflies. :)

The normal rate for a package of firefly watching in Iwahig would cost php1100/head with dinner or php900/without dinner. For us we rented Manong driver for php 1300 for a round trip tour to Iwahig. And our boat costs us php1800 for 3 boats.

EXPENSES:
PHP1800 - Boat ride for 45mins (600/boat good for 3 persons)
PHP1300 - Van rental
--------------------------------------------
PHP 3100 - Total expenses
PHP 5000 - Total Savings

We were grouped into 3, I am with the couple Ate Nemia and Kuya Ruel. This time I can still remember the name of our guide, - MARK GOMEZ. Thanks to my brother-in-law for reminding me that. It was indeed a solemn trip. The moment I needed, just to free my mind from the stress, the noise, it was a peaceful place. It was indeed romantic for me being the third wheel for the couple but who would've thought that it's the other way around. My sister and brother turned out to be chaperons ..hahahah :) Mark has a really good voice! Grabe parang DJ, pwede na nga ako makatulog eh. He gave us so many info about the fireflies, the stars, the constellations, the trees, the nature, everything was new to us. It was also my first time to see a satellite, sobrang ganda talaga nung place and I wanted to go back knowing I'd have a peace of mind.

Anyway, we all did learn and I don't want to spill it all out here, kasi nga sayang mawawala yung thrill and excitement nyu about what the place could offer. It's always better to experience it by yourselves and that's why I'm promoting it! :) At dahil guarded ako ni Kuya Ruel, super sumbong kay na Daddy, good thing Daddy is on my side hahaha :) Super asar talo na naman ako sa pagiging bully nila but of course it was all for fun.

Well after our Iwahig tour we are to have dinner. We're all hungry and yet our brains were very much bloated with the information we learned. :) We went to Badjao restaurant to discover their great food to offer and great location. In our dismay it's their closing time. :( One good restaurant I missed. :( Anyway, since the couples hadn't tried the Kinabuch's restaurant we went there for dinner. This time we're in a larger group and there was a band playing. A good dinner for all of us and again story telling about the things we did during the whole day. :)

Palawan : DIY Itinerary Day 2

Our second day is the start of the Complete Family Get Away!

The couples have arrived early morning. We then took the van to take us to Island Hopping which cost us php1300 / round trip  but first we made a stopover at the PPUR office to purchase a permit for our Underground Tour which to be held on our 3rd day. it costs us php175/head for adults. We also passed by a small store to have a rental gear for snorkeling.

Our Honda Bay tour started by registering at their counter office. Since I am doing this on my own I need to know the entrance fee per island as well.

Expenses:
PHP 2250 - boat hire - this would depend on the # of passengers and islands to visit
PHP 27 - Terminal fee (php3 / head)
PHP 12 - Entrance fee
PHP 360 - Environmental fee (php40 / head)
PHP 1800 - Lunch (php150-200 / head)
-------------------
PHP 4449 - Total for 9 Persons instead of PHP12060 (9 persons)
The usual rate for Island Hopping amounts to PHP1340 / head.

PHP 7611 - Saved amount :)

Upon arriving at Panay Island our first stop, we ordered for some lunch to eat since we were soo0ooo hungry. Of course took a lot of pictures, and roam around the island. Next stop, we visited Starfish Island. Although we only saw few starfish and the great thing is that we enjoyed snorkeling. We were in the sea and just chatting with one another when we noticed we were too far from the shore. So we hurriedly swim back there's this really funny moment with Ate Nemia and every time we reminisce we can't stop laughing at her. So to her frantic attempts to swim back, she lost the goggles and yes as a result we paid php1500 in replacement of the goggles. :( After Starfish island we passed by Luli Island which is known to be "Lulubog - Lilitaw".
Before going back to the hotel after our Honda Bay Island hopping tour, we passed by Robinson's Place. My sister Sheryl needs to buy a pair of contact lenses, I think she lost the other half while she was enjoying her time in the sea.
We headed back to the hotel for a quick rest and enjoyed some pancit that we had for Snack at the rooftop of the hotel. :) For dinner we went to Balay Chicken Inato. They offered great food and the best part of that night is we laugh and laugh and laugh at our silly acts. We even reminisce our childhood days and we just kept laughing all night. It was the best night for me on our tour. No worries, no hassles just a family enjoying time with another.

Since we had a big room in the hotel for 3 queen size bed and a single bed good for 7 people, we decided to be altogether. The husbands of my sisters took the other room. So it seems that we were all single that night, just spending  the night in a room with our parents, taking pictures and peacefully having our sleep.

Palawan - DIY Itinerary - DAY1

Palawan trip! Another first time and what excites me the most about this trip is we are complete as a whole family with all my sisters from abroad and my brother-in-laws. The great thing about this trip is we're in a large number means the MORE the MERRIER! This might be a very long blog since I'll be posting pictures as well as the itinerary I made for us. YES! I had to do it on my own. DIY ITIN nga eh! Lumabas na naman ang pagiging metikoloso ko sa paggawa ng itinerary. Of course for this one it should be great and memorable even though not perfect but close to being one.

The night before our trip I was so exhausted. I came from work with sleepless nights from the past travels I had (Bacolod and Singapore), packed my things and also stayed up late. They we're all sleeping in the room and I am in the sala with my netbook partner to search on the different places to visit. PROCRASTINATION! Yeap! The right term! Cramming to the maximum level as in, with only 1 hour of sleep and then my alarm goes on! Shocks!!! Ayokong maging Home Alone the Movie mala - Kevin kaya I have to prepare even though my eyes were dropping. Kapagod kaya - MASA padin. MASAndal TULOG!

The one thing I could not forget, sa plane pa lang kasi good vibes na! Upon reaching Palawan we are to depart the plane, with the queue of getting out of the plane you could somehow see different people and the one guy I saw was my ULTIMATE COLLEGE CRUSH! - Luis Del Rio (name drop na 'to, I don't think he would know naman) Grabe! Akalain mo, of all people, of all the places, I saw him. he's the guy na sobrang torpe ako hahaha. Yup, natotorpe din ako pag crush ko talaga pag hindi kiber lang! :) He's a flight attendant of PAL! Kala ko pa naman he'll be a doctor, pero he's so0oooo gwapo padin and siyempre torpe padin ako, I put on my shades and didn't even said hi to him! Tiklop talaga ako! REGRETFUL Moment na naman but still sobrang kilig na ko wala naman nangyari hahaha...Nakakatawa lang talaga pag naaalala ko coz I was so thrilled, the last time I saw him was Baccalaureate Mass pa namin and that's it!

Well let's get back to business. :)  My checklist has always been my travel companion. Different kind of checklists...
Things to bring (/)
Things to wear (/)
Travel Docs (/)
Memoirs (/)
ITINERARY (/)
BRAIN (/) - COMMON SENSE

On our first day, it was only the single ladies with our parents. The couples were to follow the next day. Upon arrival at the airport, the usual process, check-in, etc. I feel so good at this hahaha..feeling expert, hayaan nyu na...FEELINGERA ako eh. :)

While waiting for our luggage at the carousel I was browsing some contact info from the brochures at the airport. I immediately took one number to call for van rental. And then to meet up with the driver to bring us to our Hotel. We chose Marianne Inn for the hotel, knowing me I would not waste my money on accommodations if I would only use it to sleep. It's a nice hotel but had some troubles about my booking pa lang, fully booked but then I already purchased my hotel voucher online. Anyway, medyo naging GUESTZILLA ako and I am so sorry for that. The reception area is small but enough to accommodate their guests. Tapos may mga naging mali pa sa choice of room haaay naku, uminit ang ulo ko but then all is well that ends well. The hotel staff are accommodating I just hope that they need to organize all their bookings para if they can't accommodate the guests requests then the guests can look for other available hotels.

Here's my ITINERARY for DAY 1:

I want to share this because it's the cheapest I could do and it'll be a good help for others planning to have their own itinerary with their own budget. But of course I recommend this for group travelers, I think it'll be more wise to use a package if you wanted to be safe on travelling alone or just with a partner.

While waiting for our room to be ready I am negotiating for a van rental. Usually a city tour package would amount to php600/person. Well what I did, we left the hotel visited one of the famous restaurants called "Balinsasayaw", here you should try their pineapple rice and balinsasayaw soup. If you're trying to be local you should try what's their to offers. :)

Around 2PM, I asked the driver whom I am truly sorry for forgetting his name, to pick us up at the Balinsasayaw restaurant to proceed with the tour. The van rental for us costs 1500 for a city tour of 4 hours. Imagine that. We are five persons, if we took on the city tour package amounting to php600/pax we could've wasted a lot more money rather than spending only half of it. :)

Here's the spot we visited during our City Tour:
Crocodile Farm
Mitra's Ranch
Baker's Hill
Binuatan Weaving Creations
Cathedral and Plaza Quartel
Butterfly Garden

After our City Tour which lasted for 4 hours to be exact, we head back to the hotel and refreshed ourselves then prepared for dinner. This time another famous local restaurant --- Kinabuch's :) It's a good place to hang out, they have some sports bar and some bands playing too. A good place to chill. I didn't taste here the famous Tamilok but instead some good food to eat. :)

A have to update some photos since may magaling na tamad na sister wouldn't want to upload her big files of photos yet. Super pending. So I guess I'll just be posting some pixies here and not all...but I'll keep it posted!

Water and Light Show - MBS Singapore

I browsed to my net-book to check which files should I delete and I found this video. One memorable night with the ones I love. This is in front of the Marina Bay Sands wherein they display a presentation of the Water and Light show. :)

Enjoy the Video! And please don't mind my husky voice in here...hahahah :)

A night to remember for me since I am travelling and I'm with my sisters and another special person. :)
For sure I'll be coming back anytime soon in Singapore probably next year and there will be more time to spend with my friends in SG. I can't wait!

PRAY

This was a terrible news...one that made me cry a lot of tears. Why them? Why at this time? Why in a place where you think they would be safe? A lot questions but I only know IT'S NOT THEIR FAULT!
And the best thing that we can do is to PRAY!

It is definitely a shocking news...a lot has happened not just in US, I read a man stabbed kids in China recently too. Typhoon, tragedies, massacres, victims of different crimes. The year is about to end and what can we do about it? I know I can't help much but I will put my trust in the Lord that He will protect each and everyone of us. He will always be our guardian and He will guide us. Let's not give up on Him for He never gave up on us. For now let's all PRAY.

This is a video of Amber Davis' cover of JB's Pray. I really love this song and this would definitely help us even in our toughest and down most moments in our lives.

5 Simple ways how to treat others

There's an article I read about 5 Lessons on how to treat others and I would definitely want to share with you guys.

FIVE LESSONS ABOUT HOW TO TREAT PEOPLE
- Unknown Author -

1. First Important Lesson - "Know The Cleaning Lady"
During my second month of college, our professor gave us a pop quiz. I was a conscientious student and had breezed through the questions, until I read the last one: "What is the first name of the woman who cleans the school?"

Surely this was some kind of joke. I had seen the cleaning woman several times. She was tall, dark-haired and in her 50s, but how would I know her name? I handed in my paper, leaving the last question blank. Just before class ended, one student asked if the last queation would count toward our quiz grade.

"Absolutely," said the professor. "In your careers, you will meet many people. All are significant. They deserve your attention and care, even if all you is smile and say "hello,"

I've never forgotten that lesson. I also learned her name was Dorothy.

2. Second Important Lesson - "Pick up in the Rain"

One night, at 11:30pm, an older African American woman was standing on the side of an Alabama highway trying to endure a lashing rainstorm. Her car had broken down and she desperately needed a ride. Soaking wet, she decided to flag down the next car.

A young white man stopped to help her, generally unheard of in those conflict-filled 1960s. The man took her to safety, helped her get assistance and put her into a taxi cab.

She seemed to be in a big hurry, but wrote down his address and thanked him. Seven days went by and a knock came on the man's door. To his surprise, a giant console color TV was delivered to his home,

A special note was attached. It read: "Thank you so much for assisting me on the highway the other night. The rain drenched not only my clothes, but also my spirits. Then you came along. Because of you, I was able to make it to my dying husband's bedside just before he passed away. God bless you for helping me and unselfishly serving others."

Sincerely, Mrs. Nat King Cole.

3. Third Importatnt Lesson - "Remember Those Who Serve"

In the days when an ice cream sundae cost much less, a 10 year-old boy entered a hotel coffee shop and sat at a table. A waitress put a glass of water in front if him. "How much is an ice cream sundae?" he asked, "50 cents,"replied the waitress.

The little boy pulled his hand out of his pocket and studied the coins in it.

"Well how much is a plain dish of ice cream?" he inquired. By now more people were waiting for a table and the waitress was growing impatient. "35 cents!" she brusquely replied.

The little boy again counted his coins. "I'll have the plain ice cream," he said. The waitress brought the ice cream, put the bill on the table and walked away. The boy finished the ice cream, paid the cashier and left.

When the waitress came back, she began to cry as she wiped down the able. There, placed neatly beside the empty dish, were two nickels and five pennies. You see, he couldn't have the sundae, because he had to have enough left to leave her a tip.

4. Fourth Important Lesson. - "The Obstacles In Our Path"

In ancient times, a King had a boulder placed in a roadway. Then he hid himself and watched to see if anyone would remove the huge rock. Some of the king's wealthiest merchants and courtiers came by and simply walked around it. Many loudly blamed the king for not keeping the roads clear, but none did anything about getting the stone out of the way.

Then a peasant came along carrying a load of vegetables. Upon approaching the boulder, the peasant laid down his burden and tried to move the stone to the side of the road. After much pushing and straining, he finally succeeded. After the peasant picked up his load of vegetables, he noticed a purse lying in the road where the bolder had been. The purse contained many gold coins and a note from the King indicating that the gold was for the person who removed the boulder from the roadway.

The peasant learned what many of us never understand. - Every obstacle presents an opportunity to improve our condition."

5.Fifth Important Lesson - "Giving When It Counts"

Many years ago, when I worked as a volunteer at a hospital, I got to know a little girl named Liz who was suffering from a rare and serious disease. Her only chance of recover appeared to be  blood transfusion from her 5 year-old brother, who had miraculously survived the same disease and had developed the antibodies needed to combat the illness. The doctor explained the situation to her little brother, and asked the little boy if he would be willing to give his blood to his sister. I saw hesitate for only a moment before taking a deep breath and saying, "Yes, I'll do it if it will save her."

As the transfusion progressed, he lay in bed next to his sister and smiled, as we all did, seeing the color returning to her cheeks. Then his face grew pale and his smile faded. He looked up at the doctor and asked with a trembling voice, "Will I start to die right away?"

Being young, the little boy had misunderstood the doctor, he thought he was going to have to give his sister all of his blood in order to save her.

AMALAYER???

What are the usual lies women tell? Do guys believe it? Do they doubt?
Girls, next time we could include in our spiel if ever guys doubts..."So you think amalayer?" hahah.
But seriously, here are 5 LIES - ALL women tell, got it from site - MensXP

I am guilty about this and it's not because I don't want to express or tell my true feelings. Most situation is girls don't want to fight. For we know that if we blurt out what we really feel...men should prepare! THIS IS WAR! hahah pero hindi naman lahat. Others would like to keep it to themselves, to avoid confrontation or just to let the guys know that somehow we're strong enough to keep things to ourselves too but it does not lead to a healthy relationship.

Eto na ang MALA-AMALAYER lines ng mga girls. :)

1. "I am not mad at you."

Definitely amalayer line! When she does tell this to men, they better behave or else it'll get worst. Girls only tell this when they need to keep calm for awhile but deep inside they're absolutely burning with MADNESS!!! What's worst is when guys would keep on asking the same question if we, girls are mad at them or not. They wouldn't be content, they would even ask our girlfriends to know the reason - "Galit ba sya? Alam mo ba kung bakit?  The safest way to absorb this lie is to accept that their partner is mad at them, then it would be based on the situation on why she is mad at him.

2. "You we're great!"

If you "actually" were great, she wouldn't necessarily say it.Instead she'll show it. Observe her, the smile, the look and the gratitude she does for you because YOU ARE GREAT! Admit it, men would like to be praise, it lifted them up, they feel more manly and women knows how to appraise men either in words or in action. Well both sides do. But if she tells you how great you were and raves and rants about it, chances are you were only but mediocre and she is just being nice.

3. "Be honest. I can take it!"

Boohoo! she tells this then when you say the truth she became sad, moody, on rage or cries a river of tears.

What are the questions women usually asks?
"Do I look fat in this?" "Does this look good to me?" etc.

It's a trap. Definitely no escape. Any answer or no answer at all would troubled her. The truth is she cannot take your honesty. And if you lie blatantly, she'll catch you on it. So the trick here is to be moderate in your response: not too flowery, not too mean.

Honestly speaking girls can tell whether her man is being appreciative and really admiring her. She feels more beautiful and even if she does not ask she can get a compliment from him.

4. "I'm not jealous."

Oh common! If girls are not jealous they don't need to utter these words. The truth is, playful jealousy is fun. necessary even to keep the relationship going. So when she says she is not jealous, smile and kiss her cheek. She'll forget being jealous and she'll just blush.

5. "I never think of my ex..."

Lie. Lie. Lie. I'm writing this now and I'm thinking about the last guy I dated. Poof! I need to get back to work.

Everyone think of their ex. At some point or the other we are somehow driven back in time. It's okay to think about her ex once in awhile, because it's normal to do so. Hopefully there's no comparison!

In a relationship, both parties have their flaws.

In a healthy relationship, whether she's mad at him, she compliments him or not, she can't take his honesty, she's jealous or even think or her ex...this things doesn't bother him at all. The guy who loves a girl would definitely know how to keep her calm, compliment her, be honest with her without hurting her, trusting her being faithful and loving her completely.

So even if at times we became amalayers , real men still knows how to handle it and sweep us of our feet. <3

A Love Letter

It's my birthday!!! I re-read a wonderful and undeniably letter of TRUE LOVE from someone I truly love!

Dear Child of Mine,
I saw you before you were born, and I destined you for a great purpose (Jeremiah 1:5). While your mom was pregnant with you, I personally designed you with incredible detail and precision (Psalm 139:13,14). From the get-go, I planned so many amazing things for you, you could never even count them if you tried (Psalm 40:5).

But I knew in advance that you would go astray and forget me, so I asked My perfect Son Jesus to take your punishment Himself (Isaiah 53:5). He was willing to be humiliated and murdered so that you could be eternally healed (Isaiah 53:5). He loved you so much that He came down to earth to show you what I'm really like (John 14:7).

When you first believed in Me, I immediately accepted you into My own family (John 1:12). I forgave all your sins through My Son Jesus (1 John 2:12). And now Jesus is in Heaven with Me, preparing a place for you (John 14:2). In fact, I am living inside of you because You believe in My Son (I John 4:15).

I am forever committed to you; there is no circumstance under which I will leave you or take my love away from you (Hebrews 13:5; Romans 8:38). Even when you go through the hardest trials, I will be with you and carry you through them (Isaiah 43:2). In fact, I will cause EVERYTHING to work together for your good, because you have loved me back and I have a great purpose for you (Romans 8:28).

Is there anything you need right now? Ask Me. I am your Good Father and I won't give you something bad in return (Matthew 7:11). Actually, I have My own Spirit readily available to you to help you in your weakest hour (Romans 8:26). I know you get tempted to lose faith, but even when you do, I will remain faithful to you (2 Timothy 2:13). I want you to ask Me for great things, because I want to answer you (John 16:23). Take a look up at the heavens; My love for you goes even higher than that (Psalm 108:4). Don't lose heart: I want you to know that I am coming back for you (Revelation 22:12).

And just remember: I AM LOVE (1 John 4:16). I am always patient, always kind. I'm never envious, proud or boastful. I'm not rude, and I only want the best for you. I don't get easily irritated with you or hold a grudge toward you. I am sad when you are hurt or wronged, but love when the truth prevails in your life. I will never stop being patient with you, never lose hope or give up on you. I WILL NEVER QUIT ON YOU (1 Corinthians 13:4-8).

My love for you is everlasting (Jeremiah 31:3).

Isn't wonderful to know that there is someone who really LOVES us despite our faults and stubbornness. If you told someone you love them, isn't great if we hear those words too from them? Why not tell God how you love Him too. Coz I do! God makes my life complete, not any person, achievements, or material things and with that I am forever thankful and in love with Papa God!

The Mayonnaise Jar and 2 Bottles of Cold Beer

I read this in one of the posts in facebook and decided to share it with everyone. It's worth reading! A philo in LIFE!

A professor stood before his philosophy class and had some items in front of him.

When the class began, he wordlessly picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with golf balls.

He then asked the students if the jar was full.

They agreed that it was...

The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar. He shook the jar lightly.

The pebbles rolled into the open areas between the golf balls.

He then asked the students again if the jar was full.

They agreed it was...

The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar.

Of course, the sand filled up everything else.

He asked once more if the jar was full.

The students responded with a unanimous 'yes.'

The professor then produced two bottles of cold beer from under the table and poured the entire contents into the jar, effectively filling the empty space between the grains of sand. The students laughed.

'Now,' said the professor 'I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life.

The golf balls are the important things---your family, your children, your health, your friends and your favorite passions---and if everything else was lost and only they remained, your life would still be full.

The pebbles are the other things that matter like your job, your house and your car.

The sand is everything else---the small stuff.

'If you put the sand into the jar first,' he continued, 'there is no room for the pebbles or the golf balls.

The same goes for life.

If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff you will never have room for the things that are important to you.

Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness.

Spend time with your children.

Spend time with your parents.

Visit with grandparents.

Take time to get medical checkups.

Take your spouse out to dinner.

Play another 18...

There will always be time to clean the house and fix the disposal.

Take care of the golf balls first---the things that really matter.

Set your priorities.

The rest is just sand.

One of the students raised her hand and inquired what the cold beer represented.

The professor smiled.

'I'm glad you asked. It just goes to show you that no matter how full your life may seem, there's always room for a bottle of cold beer with a friend.'

Adopt a guy!

Another yahoo article! A French dating site opens a store for real men to be adopted. And it's titled as "Adopt-a-guy" At first, I don't believe it. But literally it is for real and men are not the clients instead women.

If you're familiar with the movie ONE DAY, Anne Hathaway had a Welch boyfriend and when Jim Sturgess asked her to describe him she said: "He's handsome, he's charming, he's just uhmmm VERY FRENCH!" And yes it was meant to be he's sexy! :)

Now a crazy but cool idea is for real men to pose as what? like KENs on a display and bachelorettes can shop for them. This literally happened in Paris and girls dig it! I think if I was there and totally single I'd try to have a window shopping for fun. :)

The funny thing is they have profiles about the displayed men. So here are some of the photos for the open store from Jacky Naegelen of Reuters.

Go for the snobbish, professional look!

Not my type...but of course I bet others would want them.

Pretend its a compiled PICTURESQUE!

Background Check!

I think they also should label some as - "Please do not open if seal is broken"

I wonder how long they have to pose...

One funny photo is the last one! A guy on a cart -  looks like the girl bought him already! Titled as SOLD!
