Malaysia - KUL '12

Continuing my second day of travel with my sisterettes is in Malaysia. We booked for a day tour in Kuala Lumpur just to roam around and have more fun and travel experienced. It was again an early flight from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur via Air Asia, another budget airline. You can also travel via train but mostly it would take a couple more hours and best is to take the night trip so you can sleep it over. I heard you were to pass good view and I am looking forward to that on my next visit some other time. And since we stayed up late from our dinner at Marina Bay Sands we were quite sleepy but still excited for this trip.

We had breakfast at Marry Brown. It's my first time though it's not a local food still I got to experienced it. Then we took an hour bus ride from the airport to the Kuala Lumpur city. There we started to get directions, of course we needed currency exchange still. We took a cab from the station and then we went to visit the twin towers, we bought tickets for a 6pm view of the towers since they were always fully booked and we can't miss this one since it's only a day tour for us. After that we went to the Kasturi Walk and city market, we bought some pasalubongs and had lunch. This time my tummy is not digesting properly. Maybe because of all the food trips I had lately, all the spicy food intake and it doesn't suit my mood well. Worst I ordered nasi goreng although it was really good but afterwards I tasted spicy flavors already and I wasn't able to finish my meal. Too bad I was so in the mood to eat all of it, it just burned my mouth!

Then we took a cab back at the Twin towers but since we were too early we had some coffee time first at Starbucks in Suria KLCC mall. Finally our time has arrived we went back to the twin tower to start our tour. It was a great view from above and I even saw the location where John lloyd and Bea made their movie Miss you like crazy. Then we went to the sky bridge, the connecting bridge of the two towers, took more pictures and ended our trip.

We need to get back to the station to ride a bus going to the airport back to Singapore. The day was very exhausting but still we enjoyed it. More travel stories continuing this MNL - SIN - KUL - SIN - MNL tour. :)

Singapore '12 - day 1

At last! The start of the sisterettes get away. From Manila bound to Singapore and the other one from Riyadh bound to Singapore. A travel experience I've been waiting. A sister bonding, an all expense paid trip guaranteed by my sisters, I'm just so blessed I have them. A night to remember and a wonderful TRAVEL experience.

I'm a cheap traveler I can tell. For this travel I go for a budget airline - Tiger Airways then booked a hotel thru Agoda, a cheaper way to book for a hotel and I served as the tour guide, the map reader, the planner, and the one who just get the cash and pay although it didn't come from my pocket. :)

Me and my sister Rhea had an early flight so we could meet up with my sister Jane who already spent a night in Singapore. We stayed at Fragrance Hotel in Ballestier road and when we met up it was so nice! We had our late lunch at a nearby local restaurant. Took a cab to go to Orchard and then we roam around, took a MRT to visit China Town, visit Temples and definitely a city tour. I'm just so glad that I managed to give directions using the map, visited places without getting lost and I totally nailed it! Ha! I can really be a tour guide. :) My passion for traveling made it easy and even though it's very tiring it's so worth it! After our city tour we went back to the hotel to freshen up. The heat of the sun, the sweat, and food intakes makes us uncomfortable already so a shower would do. Besides I've been looking forward for the first night were going to have.

The picture below is one of my favorite moments. Stolen captured moments of me and my sister laughing about silly things then finally making our final pose. It just made me miss them so much again.

At night, we went for a dinner at Marina Bay Sands, an invitation from a very good friend of mine. We met there then we watched the light and water show in front of the bay then head up to see a greater view from the top. We took pictures, had a drink, chat and let's all call it a night! A night to remember...but now it only stays in memory, I'll tell you more about that on my next post.

I NEED...

"Needs not Wants Bunsoy" - words from my sister Jane. Every time I thought of buying a material thing I talk to her for advice and those were the words she gave me every time. So I have to think a couple of times if I really need it or I just want it. Eventually I still end up buying it matigas ulo ko eh.

Reality speaking we don't really need a lot from this world. Those that we needed the most are non-material things. Here's a photo of what you might be needing now or tomorrow or everyday.

I probably need all of these from different times...What about you? Take what you need.

The FOUR Agreements

more ways to stay FIT!

I know i haven't been updating my blog lately...well if you can see my facebook account you can also tell my pictures weren't updated too. I have a lot of pending photos to upload and blogs to post and videos to edit. I must have been really busy lately and being busy means I have forgotten to stay fit too.

Blessed are the people who ate a lot and don't need to worry about getting fat coz they have the slim / sexy body they have whatever they indulge in and unlucky me I'm not one of them. I think I'm currently in my worst weight ever! It sucks! It really does! Having all these get-aways, food trips, get-together and night outs it just made me so unbalanced already. I have been craving for so much food at whatever hour it may be and worst I'm never in a mood for exercise. It seems like my bed, the couch, the food, the chocolates is always calling me...hahaha.

And when desperation calls I can tell I needed technology hahahaha...Don't judge me I'm not a book and you're not licensed to coz you're not a judge...hahah that does even make sense??? What was I thinking? I bought Vibroaction for my tummy and back to the grocery section for oats, cereals, low fat milk, nesvita and laxative teas. Name it! Well I need to be really disciplined and for that I saw these pictures to help me be more FIT and HEALTHY!

So let's do it the right way!
