Traffic Light

Good Morning Friday! :)

I had a dream about someone today...someone used to be special to me but now he's really really happy with someone else. I'm happy coz in my dream there are no more heartaches...and finally we talked again. Hopefully in reality I can talk to him again and tell him how happy I am for him.

It does hurt when someone you thought was the perfect man turned out to be the perfect man for other people. :( But letting go is accepting the fact that there are no Mr. Perfect...only Mr. Right. I am not in a relationship right now. Happy and single! But I am meeting  male friends too...could be a start of something new? ---I don't know yet but all I know it's not my focus at this time. It's ME and GOD's TIME for the mean time.

Jesus will be my boyfriend for the mean time. He will listen to my stories, my rubbish and childish acts and even comfort me. I have a lot of things to focus on right now and loving an opposite sex for a relationship is not my priority. It'll come...who knows when but I know God will present him when He knows I'm ready. I always pray that whoever he is I hope when the time finally brought us together He will not consume most of my time but instead he'll be more faithful to God.

I can give descriptions of the guy I wanted to have but in reality it turns out to be in just three reasons...
(1) He loves GOD above all things, (2) He loves me the he loves himself or more - sacrificial love, (3) He loves my family like he loves me. In return he will turn out to be the man I am insanely in love with too. :)

Here's a video that caught my eye today about loving like a traffic light. It goes out for everyone.

Train the Trainers

Start of something new...BLESSED would definitely be the right word for me as one of the newly trainers of the hotel. We recently had our training conducted by our Resident Manager Mr. Jeffrey Enriquez together with our HR personnel Ms. Rhana  and Ms. Kay. Three of them made a good tandem in training the nine of us, namely, yours truly, Glennis-Duty Manager, London Chris-Concierge, Chris-B Hotel FO Supervisor, Chi-FNB Captain, Laarni-HK Supervior, Edwin-Duty Engineer, Bob-Night Auditor, Glenn-Hygienist.

It was a four days training and yet we wanted more. We learned a lot from the four days what more for a week. More FUN too!

After the training we had a dinner feast at Phoenix Court. yum..yum..yum...:)

I wouldn't discuss what we had during the training for I would like it to be surprise for the other who would under go the same training. But all I can say is I am blessed and I am grateful that my seniors and my Managers believed in me and included me to be part of this training. I will definitely do my very best. I am excited to do my first ever training. For that I am a CERTIFIED TRAINER! BIG thanks to my mentors and to  PAPA GOD for giving me wisdom and talents. :D

Marilac Foundation Day

This is something new for me but something exciting too. I was invited by our HR to represent the Hotel in receiving award of recognition from the Marilac Foundation. As a BIGKIS Chairwoman I am excited about this. Feeling politician ako na may award of recognition or invited in a local government programs hahahah...I was with some of my colleagues from BIGKIS and HR, we went there in the afternoon and even though it's my day off I still attend, siyempre feeling politician nga eh. The only difference is wala akong kasamang body guard and medyo nagmukha akong first lady hahaha. Sir John looks like a Congressman and Sir Dennis as Mayor...Me and Ms. Yel serves as their ladies hahahah :) The girls perform their talents for us and they were very entertaining especially the kids, when they danced...so0oooo cute!

The Marilac is a foundation is a temporary shelter for girls and young women who are in need of social care and special protection. The center was founded last March 30, 1967 and can accommodate 250 clients. The center caters to clients who are: In conflict with the law, Sexually abused, Sexually exploited, and Unwed Mothers. It is one of the foundations continually being supported by the Bellevue Hotel. Also, if any would like to make donations as well or training for the girls it'll be much appreciated. You can personally visit them at Marilac Hills Foundation, Muntinlupa City or you could also send donations through Bellevue Hotel.

gOOdbYe seems to be the hardest part

They say friends come and go...and this year it's seems that a lot had said goodbye. Yes, it was a sad moment for FO family that we need to part ways. A lot of reasons...a lot of sadness too. It's hard knowing that we made friends with one another and who knows when will we see each other again. Hard again for losing someone trained at the FO means we need to cope up for more training, more harder coz most of those who left are seniors already.

We will definitely miss you guys...let's see each other again. I pray that all of us find more success and happiness. KUDOS to all of you! Daddy Nols, Igi Boy, Charlilay, and S'Cesar! :)

Take me to Batangas - ocular days

A sunny day to welcome our first major task as BIGKIS officers. Time for the ocular inspection for a probably venue for our Company Outing. Now, let me tell you about my experiences. It was very fun...very tiring...food trips...a lot of talking...a lot of picture taking...drive here and there...snooze moments...then, decision making.

We had our ocular twice. First location was in Nasugbu and Calatagan, Batangas where we found this beach resorts.

LAGO DE ORO: Nice location, mostly guests are those interested in wake boarding. The beach is not really nice although I think its low tide season when we visited the area. Also, the rooms are quite small for our group but I guess if for a family or friends' outing this place would do.

STILTS: I fell in love with this place. NATURE lover would go for this place. This is actually our choice after our first day of ocular although we were turned down when some rumors said that there were lots of jellyfish in the beach area. Too bad, the cabanas were really nice. it can accommodate a large group. The people are very accommodating, security services are excellent. More of a private get away from the busy life and I will definitely return to this place. I even saw a place where I would like to have my pre-nup someday...hahahah. Wee, you know most of us young women, we would think of those ideas but eventually we don't really know what will happen in the future, it'll just surprise us of the perfect moments. Who know I might find other beautiful destinations.

APLAYA CALATAGAN: This is a residential area although they are open for company outing for day trips only. Can't do! Where will we stay for 3days/2nights if ever?

There are other beach resorts that we've visited although I would say a big NO-NO...hahaha. Let me anme them just for reference in any case you'd like to know. RONCO BEACH RESORT, the farthest ever and then out of nowhere it seems like its about to close. WHITE CASTLE, which in the pictures looks really big and nice but it's not. MUNTING BUHANGIN, they said before it looks really nice but not anymore. The huts made the place over crowded and the stairs that you need to climb before you even reach the beach area is definitely very tiring.

After our first day of ocular we were at ease for we knew we found the right place, STILTS. Sow we had our dinner at Lelie's Tagaytay and we were home earlier than expected.

Second day of ocular was done a onth before the actual outing and to tell you honestly we were quite desperate about this part. We need to get a very good location, with a very good beach area and budget wisely. Planning an event like this for a very large number of people is really hard. So these are the places we went to visit for our second ocular.

First, we went to Laiya, San Juan, Batangas which is a very long drive and I am mostly asleep the whole travel time coming from a return shift schedule. We went to Balai - San Juan, Estrella de Mendoza, Laiya White Cove, LaLuz Beach Resort, Blue Coral, Acuatico, Aquaverde and others we just passed by the area. I didn't bother to took some pictures of the other resorts for they didn't pass our standards, not being judgemental, standards for the company outing is what I meant like they can't accommodate a large number of people, the parking area wouldn't fit three buses, the pool area is not that big, the beach area is not nice, shore line is small, standards like that.

Finally from San Juan we drove off to Nasugbu after our lunch somewhere in Batangas. It was a long drive and I was really praying hard that our last destination would be THE ONE. We have limited time before the outing and we still need to organize a lot of things but first of course THE DESTINATION. Finally, God answered our prayers. he led us right where we should really be, our final destination and where we recetly had our comapny outing at PENINSULA DE PUNTA FUEGO and TERRAZAS DE PUNTA FUEGO.

We were at the right place and at the right time. After our ocular it rained so hard, we were driving along the Tagaytay Road and we stopped for a dinner at Mushroom burger. Finally, we arrived at Alabang on a rainy night - somehow half-fulfilled until all negotiations are done.

YES to Cutie :) Engagement story

It was a normal day for all FRONT OFFICE AGENTS. We were about to start our PM shift duty when we found out the GREAT - BIG - SURPRISING - 10* KILIG MOMENT for Ms. Lex...future Mrs. Lexalyn Plopino - Boco.

Finally the most awaited event happened...THE PROPOSAL. I wouldn't tell much about it in writing let's hear the story right from the point of view of the bride to be.

I recorded this video just for others who would like to know the story...Medyo paulit-ulit kasi nagkwento si Ms. Lex samin that day. I am just one of the most people who are both happy for the next soon to be wed couple.

Let me FALL...zzzzz (asleep)

Since this year came I don’t remember having a good night sleep...literally speaking I have been deprived from sleep--the busy schedule at work, the meetings for the committee, the late night outs, the parties, the get together, the return shift and lately the straight duty for 16 hours. These things gave me the reason to be deprived from sleep.

I am not a coffee lover believe me, give me milk or tea I can drink it everyday, every hour…but coffee has been my companion lately and I hate to say it but it has been useful for the past few months however I need to stop I don’t want to be reliant to it.

Just this week I had a straight 16 ours of duty from 3PM – 7AM the next day and thank goodness I survived I’ve done it like three times before but those were the days that I still get goodnight sleep and I know I can handle it. Good thing I still did. Well I did some research about sleep and I browsed that sleeping position has personality meanings too. Funny I can actually relate to it. I am glad to share what I found. Check what’s your sleep position and if it does match your personality.

Personality: FREEFALLER
As a freefaller you tend to be very intense, even if not always outwardly so. You often wear your heart on your sleeve, and your willingness to go out of your way for friends can get you in trouble sometimes. You can be gregarious and wild at times, for that is your inner personality but many freefallers keep that side of themselves bottled up because they have learned their intense energy can get them into trouble. They love freedom, they tend to lose temper too and watch out! You typically sleepy very well, but occasionally your emotions get better of you and you can't sleep at all.

Position:
Lying on your front with your hands around the pillow, and your head turned to one side.

Personality: LOG SLEEPER
As a Log sleeper you are more carefree than people who sleep in other positions. Your relaxed, almost statuesque sleeping state represents your relaxed inner self. You trust that you will sleep well, just as you trust other people. You are generally easy-going, with a very sociable personality. You enjoy being part of the in-crowd other people are drawn to your friendliness, and you are drawn to other people. This is a good thing for you, but at times it makes you too trusting of strangers.

Position:
Log sleepers sleep on their sides with their back and legs straight, hands at their sides, with the side of their face resting against the pillow.

Personality: SOLDIER
As a soldier sleeper you tend to be more quiet ans reserved, but they harbor very strong emotion on the inside even if they don't always show them. You are good at practicing self-control and caution and you are very dependable. You tend to chase after your goals one step at a time. You are consistent, structured, and difficult to interpret for lack of flamboyance or outward arrogance. You are committed to protecting people close to you. You tend to be organized either physically, mentally, or both and you tend to be an intelligent thinker.

Position:
A soldier keeps flat on his or her back, face to the ceiling, arms down at the side or slightly out, and legs straight.

Personality: STARFISH
The starfish sleepers are often excellent listeners, making them great friends and confidants. Starfish sleepers will find that their kindness and willignness to help others makes them shy away from being the center of attention most of the time. But, every now and then they shine in the spotlight and enjoy it!

Position:
Lying on your back with your legs slightly to full spread and your arms slightly to fully out from your side.

Personality: STARGAZER
Lovers of liberty, seekers of comfort, admirers of beauty, the stargazer's happy-go-lucky attitude towards life can be magnetic at times. As your open, free, warmth-accepting sleep pose reflects, you enjoy life and all the beautiful things it has to offer. Beware though, as you do not take discomfort lightly and people may complain that your expectations can be too high at times. Also, you should guard against being too talkative about other people.

Position:
Lying on your back with both arms up around the pillow.

Personality: THINKERS
They are often described as though on the outside, but sensitive deep down inside. They are often very kind and gentle, but afraid of being hurt emotionally. Thinkers are said to be blessed with fortune and power. These thinkers are said to have the ultimate confidence in their future success. Thinkers can be bold and adventurous, or structured and confined. They can be energetic or withdrawn. They may be shy when they first meet somebody, but soon relax.

Position:
They are characterized by sleeping on one's side, often in a fetal or curled up position but always bent at least slightly, sometimes with arms curled on top of the pillow, sometimes with one arms under the pillow.

Personality: YEARNER
Their personality is one of the most complex positions. As a yearner you will be quite open and friendly, but deep down you will harbor doubts about other people. In your outward kindness you have a tendency to be inwardly cynical. You also take your time in making decisions, but once your mind is made up it is hard to change it back. This is not necessarily a bad thing, as it keeps you from opening up too quickly and making brash decision. But, it can also earn you a reputation for being stubborn. Yearners can make the best of friends when they are truly committed, and their loyalty is rewarded in kind.

Position:
People who sleep in this position sleep with their heads slightly off the center of the pillow, arms outstretched along it, back straight, and legs slightly bent.

If you think you are one of those people who move through all of these positions, that's not likely to really be the case. The research reveals most people stay in the same position all night and only 5% lay differently night by night. Also interesting is that the study showed only one in ten people cover their bodies entirely with a blanket, with most people exposing an arm, leg, or both feet.

So which sleeping position do you fit in?

This is BE KIND TO HUMANKIND WEEK

Sacrifice Our Wants for Others' Needs Sunday

- is a day to give up something for someone else. It's easy to share a cookie when you have two, but much harder when you have only one.

Motorist Consideration Monday

- Even if you don't drive a car, there is traffic in the halls of your school and traffic outside the bathroom as you get dressed in the morning. Be considerate to them.

Touch-a-Heart-Tuesday

- is the day to say I-Love-You to Mom or write a note to your grandparents

Willing to Lend a Hand Wednesday

- Mom's folding the laundry? Help her. Little brother or sister can't find a favorite toy? Stop what you're doing to help them.

Thoughtful Thursday

- Ask God to open your eyes so you can see possibilities for thoughtfulness around you.

Forgive you Foe Friday

- Forgive by the teaspoonful; you'll receive a teaspoon of forgiveness. Forgive by the bushel---you do the math.

Speak Kind Words Saturday

- Kindness builds up; mean words tear down. Wow! This is going to be a great week or what?
