Five Shoe Style Every Girl Must Have

Someone once said, "A girl can never have too many pairs of shoes!" But, it's almost important to take note of these shoe staples that should belong to every bella's shoe collection.

PUMPS. It can go from corporate to classic chic. Black is the most logical color for this pair of shoes, but you can also choose from an array of neutral hues such as white, brown, cream or go funky route and get a pair in red, yellow, royal blue, even pink. Fab!

KNEE-HIGH BOOTS. So sexy! Pair them up wiht your summer dress, with your skintight jeans, mini skirts, trousers, you name it. This versatile pair goes with just about everything you wear. Get one in coffee-color or dark brown, trust us, the color is as verstile asthe ubiquitous black. Just make sure you take proper care of them when not in use, as leather can get moldy due to neglect.

FLIP-FLOPS. March signals the start of beach season, so what better way than to stock up on flip-flops? Besides, our country basically has a tropical climate, so get a pair or two you can use while malling, casual get-togethers with friends, relaxing by the beach, etc.

SNEAKERS. Ever reliable, this pair will go very, very, well with your "tourist" ensemble especially during your shopping trips abroad that require plenty of walking. And, if you're feeling particularly adventurous, pair it with pinstriped pants and a serious-looking-button- down polo - how's that fro contrast?

BALLET FLATS. Every girl should have at least a pair of this dainty foorwear. It says classy but not prissy, girly but not "manang". Pair your ballet flats with long, flowing skirts, jeans, dresses, shorts...the possibilities are endless!

Stay Healthy with Cool Energy Boosting Moves.

Getting sick lately has been my worst days and I've done some research on where I could stay healthy the easiest way. I have always seek help in terms of medication when I am sick so let's try to be healthy as much as possible and with that I would like to share these healthy tips to everyone.  :)

1. First drink.
Cleanse your system and hydrate your body after a night's rest by drinking a tall glass of water first thing in the morning. You can squeeze some calamansi or lemon juice into it so your first drink of the day has that added tangy kick.

2. Nap time.
When you feel sluggish in the middle of the day, take a 30-minute power nap. Studies shows that power naps ensure better performance. Just keep in mind that you should not exceed the prescribed time frame. If you do, you enter stage five REM sleep. This wouldn't exactly be advisable if you're at work. Your aim is to enjoy the feeling of meditative relaxation not deep sleep.

3. Fiber up.
Fiber improves your endurance. Various studies show that people with high-fiber diets last longer in exercise sessions and also burned more fats. Thus, its advisable for you to eat a high-fiber meal - such as a bowl of oatmeal and a piece of fruit - three hours before a workout.

4. Snooze issue.
It can be so tempting to hit that snooze button several times in the morning. Getting up with that first alarm can be a true sacrifice--with huge benefits to your health! You'll get more done in the day and will save yourself from the stress of morning traffic and rushing around.

5. Pepper up.
Just one medium red bell pepper provides more than the recommended daily value of vitamin C, a nutrient crucial for repairing connective tissues and cartilage. It can help you recover from your workouts much faster.

6. Yogurt buzz.
If you're looking for a high energy snack that's all natural, go for yogurt. It contains the amino acid tyrosine which also helps perk you up. You see, the body converts tyrosine to dopamine and adrenaline. A cup of yogurt is sure to jumpstart your day.

7. Go natural. The substances in processed food such as nitrates in luncheon meat and monosodium glutamate in some ready-to-eat food items can trigger a migraine and lethargy. To make sure that a headache doesn't bag you down when you least expect it, grab a piece of fruit when you feel hungry. Make an effort to significantly lessen your consumption of processed food. If possible, strike them out of your menu completely. Eat fruit to get that sweet fix without cookies, candy or cake. There are so many fruits that will quell your sweet tooth--oranges, cherries, grapes, pineapple, kiwi--so rotate them out so you don't get bored with the same old apple every day. It's a great opportunity to get more nutrients into your diet, too!

8. Pose well.
Make sure that you sit or stand up straight with your shoulders down and back. The primary sensory nerve in your forehead is rooted at the base of your neck. That's why muscle tension in that particular spot can lead to head pain. You also compromise your circulation when you have iffy posture.

9. Breathing theraphy.
Tension headaches arise when you're stressed. That's when your cortisol and adrenaline levels surge. When this happens, your body is forced to pump out sugar. Unfortunately, the quick change in glucose levels can set you up for pain. As such, you should not let your stress levels rise. You can do simple breathing exercises when you fell anxious.

10. Take on a daily walking habit.
Taking a 10 - 15-minute walk can reduce stress and improve your mood for the rest of the day. Walking, as other forms of exercise, prompts the brain to release endorphins, which help alleviate pain and stimulate relaxation. Make a decision to pencil in this quick exercise even on your busiest days. Walking has so many benefits for your mind and body, and it's a great way to start a fitness program or add a little extra calorie burning to your day!

11. Give up Smoking.
I am not a fan of smokers. So I would add this to my list. It is not impossible to know that smoking is not bad for us. It causes heart disease, cancer, stroke and other lung diseases. So if you're smoking, QUIT, if not, DON'T EVEN TRY! :)

12. Give up Soda.
There's nothing wrong with that occasional sweetened beverage, but if you drink soda regularly, those calories can add up. Soda and many other sweetened drinks are filled with empty calories and sugar that do nothing to serve your nutritional needs. So give up that daily soda machine break to cut calories.

There you have it. You can stay on your fitness track by doing these simple things consistently. After all, there's no need to pop pills when you can get rid of pain the natural way.

He said = She said

When it comes to looking for the “perfect kind of a date” we all have our lists to be checked. I’d be honest on this one that’s why it’s been so hard for me to go on a date or let’s just say I can’t find what I wanted so far. That’s why NEVER end up in a relationship always on a hanging – dating status, the easier way is to end it SOON!

For the others, I’ve read an article from MATCH.COM about what a GUY and a GIRL would definitely look for in a date / partner.

Here’s the list:

HE SAID: My relationship has to have ______________

“She needs to be attractive.”

Speak the truth! This is the initial spark of men when it comes to choosing who to ask for on a date. Besides, it’s a fact; we all wanted someone whom we can be attracted too.

“I want to be loved for who I am not what I can provide.”

Ooops! Shame on those girls who are on for the money and not for the love! They’ll definitely end up in break-up or will divorce someday. Well somehow my say to this is that MEN needs to provide for their family and I think girls are just being realistic at some point to choose someone who’s a good lover and a good provider too. Let’s be practical but LADIES it’s not all about the money.

“For me, physical affection is essential.”

Men are somehow being misinterpret to just jumping into bed with their girls. But they don’t just need the “SEX” thing. They want passion even in simply ways like, hug, touch, kiss (cheek), hold hands, for them it’s important to have a simple everyday shared physical connection.

“She has to get my jokes and sense of humor.”

Definitely! Guys are trying their best to win a girl’s heart and that’s just not by being serious, it’s always nice to laugh it all out. Have fun! Laugh at each other and enjoy every moment, and if a girl is too boring for a guy, sorry to say but it’s a GOODBYE!

“My next girlfriend has got to be straightforward and patient.”

This goes out for older or more mature men. They would be looking for someone they knew they could spend the rest of their lives with. They’ve been fed up with the dating status, on-off relationships, drama-queen girlfriends, etc. They would want someone who wanted to be committed with them too, someone who’s patient and can handle a relationship despite the issues, fights, and simple misunderstandings. Guys would go for girls who are willing to adjust, understand and at the same time is willing to lay it on the line.

SHE SAID: My relationship has to have ______________

“I want to be wooed, I need the romance.”

Raise you hand if you’re a HOPELESS ROMANTIC, as for me you’d be seeing both hands raised. If guys wants physical connection, for us girls, it’s not always about physical, words can do, simple thoughts, simple deeds and acts would really swept us at our feet. A simple note saying “I-miss-you” a simple text saying “I thought about you today as I passed our favorite restaurant”. Girls are so vulnerable when it comes to those sweet moments and men should take that as an opportunity to bring romance in the relationship.  But this doesn’t mean that guys would only do courtship on the start of a relationship, do it constantly, do not stop or else girls would look for someone who could give them that CONSTANTLY.

“I need a man who is generous in every way.”

This is true! Girls are generous too and can return the favor but let’s say for the few start of dates MEN should pay for it, then when things are going okay for sure girls are willing to share. It’s always nicer for a guy to be money-conscious for it shows stability in life but not in terms of being a cheapskate. Also, generous not just by providing money or gifts, TIME is the most precious gift a GUY could give to his girl. If a guy has the capability to provide material things but not time well relationship won’t last that long as well.

“As I get older I want someone who genuinely cares about me.”

This is somehow related to the previous lists. If a man would only show care for the first few months or would only satisfy girls through expensive gifts but no time at all it will be hard on both ends. Ladies would want to have someone they knew they could get along with every day and even for the rest of their lives but if for a few months guys changed already then it should be put into end.

“I need to feel true chemistry with him.”

CHEMISTRY! A-must in a relationship, if two people are being introduced or being set-up and after a few dates nothing really is working out for them then it’s no use. Chemistry is the connection between two individuals that somehow linked them together and it shows that when they are apart they get to miss each other because there’s no connection near. We all want someone who could adapt to us, have fun and simple things with us and even laugh at the most silliest moment we have in our lives.

“I want a guy who’s got a big soulful heart.”

Ladies would seek for men who have a big soulful heart not just in terms of their relationship but also his relationship to other people, his family, his friends, even to strangers. A kind heart always wins the top-notch. If a man is kind and true then he would understand the moody moments of girls, the nagging part, and the dramas and still hang on. In fact, this type of guy will definitely last a relationship if he puts his good and soulful heart first.

Well...that's what HE and SHE said. Now, what's on your list???

The Lost Valentine

My title would look like a tragic incident having a LOST valentine especially this Valentines Day, but I'm not yet done in fact I'm just about to start my V-DAY with lots of posts about LOVE yes...LOVE as what it's all about. :)

So what is this LOST VALENTINE? Guys relax it's a movie. It's always nice to watch super-kilig / chick-flick movies with your lovey-dovey in this special day and I do recommend his one. It may sound absurd because of the title but mind you it is not. You know when you have those FAVORITE movies of all time and no dull moment when you watch those movies over and over again well this has been added to my list.

THE LOST VALENTINE was based on the novel, The Last Valentine, by James Michael Pratt, though they said there were some differences between the novel and the movie for me still it’s a love story about keeping a promise of a Navy Pilot to his wife that he will come back on their anniversary when they separated because of war last Feb 14, on a train station. To keep her promise of waiting she actually waited for 60 years. This movie shows how faithful we can be by keeping our promises and that love is true, worth fighting for, worth dying for and can truly last a lifetime.

To make you guys more intrigued about the movie here is some trivia: since Bourne Identity has been a fussed that there were scenes shot here in the Philippines, in this movie there were actual scenes shot in the Philippines too and even Filipino actors were present which was really nice. Aside from that the movie is starred by Jennifer Love Hewitt, Betty White, Billy Magnussen and my HOT CRUSH -> Sean Faris.

Now I truly recommend this movie. Now grab some popcorn / chips, drinks and cuddle with your loved ones or a pillow and watch it. Here’s a preview of the movie.

TWO THUMBS UP! Happy Valentine’s Day to everyone!

newbie CRUSH

Here's my new crush =D

Jon McLaughlin ---> very nice last name.

I love the lyrics... here it goes:

BEAUTIFUL DISASTER
Jon McLaughlin

She loves her mama's lemonade,
Hates the sound that goodbyes make.
She prays one day she'll find someone to need her.
She swears that there's no difference,
Between the lies and compliments.
It's all the same if everybody leaves her.

And every magazine tells her she's not good enough,
The pictures that she sees make her cry.

And she would change everything, everything just ask her.
Caught in the in-between, a beautiful disaster,
And she just needs someone to take her home.

She's giving boys what they want, tries to act so nonchalant,
Afraid they'll see that she's lost her direction.
She never stays the same for long,
Assuming that she'll get it wrong.
Perfect only in her imperfections.

She's not a drama queen,
She doesn't want to feel this way, only seventeen, but tired

She would change everything for happy ever after.
Caught in the in between, a beautiful disaster,
But she just needs someone to take her home.

'Cause she's just the way she is, but no ones told her that's OK.

And she would change everything, everything just ask her.
Caught in the in-between, a beautiful disaster,

And she would change everything for happy ever after.
Caught in the in-between, a beautiful disaster,

But she just needs someone to take her home
And she just needs someone to take her home.

will YOU still LOVE me TOMORROW?

I enjoyed the app of Fat booth so I tried to make a collage before and now I can post it here.

These are photos of my friends and I when we add more weight. It was fun taking pictures and the question is to our loved ones -> will you still love me tomorrow?

As they say we will all grow old so find the one who you will be attractive with even when there's wrinkles, belly, stretch marks and veins visible. This just means fall in love with a person not because with his / her physical appearance. Always remember that beauty may fade but love will last.

I remember this verses from the Bible =D

Alabaster Wedding Anniversary of Daddy and Mama

Happy 37th Wedding Anniversary to my Wonderful Parents.

This year my parents turned 37 years of marriage, and yes Alabaster is the modern symbol for the 37th wedding anniversary. I was a planner when it comes to special occasions especially when it involves my loved ones. I asked them if they wanted to try a Chinese restaurant at our hotel after a soothing massage in a spa, or if not we could hang out at Tagaytay go to Sonya’s Garden and relax, but then as a simple request from them they asked just for the three of us to watch a movie and have a simple dinner. I was amazed by how my parents grow old and yet they demand a little for them. They have provided me what I wanted ever since I was a child and now that I have the capability to give them that they just ask for simple things, which made me a favor to save more.

So for their 37th wedding anniversary I treated them for a movie of their choice which was Contraband. I love this movie knowing I had a big guy crush on Mark Wahlberg and a girl crush on Kate Beckinsale :)

Then we had dinner at La Paellas Café at 2F Festival Mall which my first time to try the food and it was good. The place is cozy and I like the way they served their guests, staffs are very courteous.

As a gift I bought a scrapbook and let my workmates write their messages on it even my cousins and sisters who were far from us, in my part I wrote their messages and greetings for my parents which ire ad to them aloud. I know with these simple treats and gifts I made them super happy. I am hoping to be with them on their upcoming years of marriage.
