Adopt a guy!

Another yahoo article! A French dating site opens a store for real men to be adopted. And it's titled as "Adopt-a-guy" At first, I don't believe it. But literally it is for real and men are not the clients instead women.

If you're familiar with the movie ONE DAY, Anne Hathaway had a Welch boyfriend and when Jim Sturgess asked her to describe him she said: "He's handsome, he's charming, he's just uhmmm VERY FRENCH!" And yes it was meant to be he's sexy! :)

Now a crazy but cool idea is for real men to pose as what? like KENs on a display and bachelorettes can shop for them. This literally happened in Paris and girls dig it! I think if I was there and totally single I'd try to have a window shopping for fun. :)

The funny thing is they have profiles about the displayed men. So here are some of the photos for the open store from Jacky Naegelen of Reuters.

Go for the snobbish, professional look!

Not my type...but of course I bet others would want them.

Pretend its a compiled PICTURESQUE!

Background Check!

I think they also should label some as - "Please do not open if seal is broken"

I wonder how long they have to pose...

One funny photo is the last one! A guy on a cart -  looks like the girl bought him already! Titled as SOLD!

Gay men over Straight men

I've read this article in Yahoo before and I decided to blog about it...why? because it does makes sense.

I got some excerpts from the article What Straight Men should Learn from Gay Men and added some of my thoughts and it was worth reading. So I advise the guys out there to read this!

1. Gay men don't give a damn!

Admit it...gay men are more stylish than men. I am telling this in a manner of men's clothes. Sometimes I get confused when a hot guy passed by me and then suddenly talks so soft! It's like "Oh no! He's gay! Sayang!"

They come in so attractive men's outfit and of course some of them are physically fit! That's why it's much more confusing. They won't mind what other people would think and they move with confidence and sophistication.

Lesson 1: Self assurance is different from a swagger. Learn to tell the difference.

2. Gay men are in touch with their feminine side.

This is what most girls need. Someone who can understand them when they have mood swings, they crave for something, or just really need some attention. Some guys don't get what girls think or want so they end up  ranting with their guy friends on how they just don't understand their girl.

I love how my guy friends acted sometimes as gay. It makes them more of a man for me coz they have this sense of humor and can totally cheer up some girls. And it's nice that somehow they appreciate how a girl carry herself, her outfit, how she put on her make up, etc.

Lesson 2: Revealing a sensitive side makes you more of a man, not less of one.

3. Gay men don't ogle, they appreciate.

It's nice to receive compliments and it's flattering too but it's not really nice if men stares and you know it's a malicious look! Respect guys! Appreciate and stop ogling. Just as what they say, first look is appreciative second and stared look always has malice.

Lesson 3: - If you must look, steal a glance, and don't let us catch you ogling. After that focus on the personality not just on the package.

4. Gay men value the finer things in life.

Girls, don't you just love it when your boyfriend willingly accompany you to watch a Filipino chick-flick movie or go shopping for your clothes without looking at his watch? Go with you on a Taylor Swift or Katy Perry concert? Watch a play? Sing a song for you? --- these things are hard for straight men but not for gay men. But a girl is definitely lucky if her guy can accompany her in these occasions.

For me, of course physically I get attracted first but what mostly stays for me is if a guy is smart and willing to accompany me with all my walks in life. Whether in a movie, cozy couch, new found restaurant, shopping, and crazy sports too.

Lesson 4: We love it when you flaunt a six pack, but variety is the spice of life. Only sports and music makes you oh-so average.

Finally I love the last part of the article, it says:

"There are plenty guys who can boast of having the best of both worlds, though, and I don't mean bisexuals. Because a straight man who is confident, affectionate, appreciative and interesting is like a real-life Captain Jack Sparrow!"

But of course, I am not saying I am pro-gay person not even an anti. I just think men should have some thoughts about this. :)

Singapore '12 - day 3

Finally the last post for the SG-MY trip! My last day in Singapore. I enjoyed much of this trip and it was great that I had with this trip are my two lovely sisterettes, my financer, my travel buddies!

We woke up, had our small breakfast and then head to Bugis Junction Mall for additional shopping. Afterwards we went back to the hotel and fix our luggage and head out for some quick lunch. Then time to go to airport.

My sister Jane took the Singapore Airlines so we dropped her off first then me and my sister Rhea we're on a budget terminal via Tiger Airways. It was an exciting trip. I was IN LOVE with Singapore and I know I have to come back. I still need to try a lot of things, eat a lot of food, party, stroll, explore and who knows,,,might meet someone. But for now, I''m back here in the Philippines and there's more travel to do!

Bye Singapore! Will have more chances of seeing you again! See YOU soon... :)

Singapore '12 - day 2

I know this has been one of the many pending posts I have and yes I'm trying to find time to actually finish all of it.

Back to Singapore! After our day trip in Malaysia via Air Asia, we were back in Changi Airport around 1am of July 6. We are really getting tired but lots of fun moments still and non stop eating session. I was more tired thar day because we slept late then I wasn't able to sleep well. Too bad I think eating too much spicy food is really not good for me. I think I over ate Laksa and as a result I had diarrhea. It's crazy! I slept for like 2 hours only and then all I know is we have to prepare for our Universal Trip!

I don't carry grudges when I travel. I know I'm maarti but if it's adventure, fun, explore, no maarti moves for me. But this time! This is crazy! As I've said before I wasn't able to sleep even in my past travels which started last month of May. So as a result...I'm a dead battery...not even low battery. I'm a picture traveler which means every pose I would like to do in almost every part of a place. Unfortunately I was not really in a good condition and one factor that makes me so lame is because I'm so sleepy.

It's UNIVERSAL STUDIOS!!! Well at least I got to enjoy some rides still and I do recommend THE MUMMY and THE TRANSFORMERS ride...so cool! I wasn't able to ride the roller coasters...I'm not quite a fan of scary rides. So yeah call me KILL JOY. It would be nice if I know there will be someone to ride it with me,,, :) Well it was fun!!! Still there's always a kid in me who enjoys adventure rides! :)

After our Universal tour we roam around the whole Sentosa Island and since we lack time we just took pictures, had some rest, some smoothie then walk again. It was really nice! Especially I'm with my best travel buddies - my sisterettes! Then we went to the Merlion in Sentosa and the real Merlion near the bay where we took pictures again and again and again. Going there we took the MRT.

It was almost sunset when we took a cab to bring us to Night Safari! It was a long drive. To my dead batt body I fell asleep in the taxi which I usually do. Then we reached the park and we were on time. We bought tickets for the tram that would take us to see the animals. The good thing was the tour guide knows a lot of language, she did different greetings for all nationalities. It was great! I actually love her job it's one of my dream job. So we saw a lot of animals, an elephant, a lion, a deer, yak, swans, monkeys, etc. Unfortunately I don't have a good night camera for that! No flash was allowed and again I praise the tour guide, she said a lot of details about the animals and it was an exciting trip!

After the tour in the tram, we went to the restaurant for the show. A show of the fire tribe people - I'm not really sure if I labeled them right as fire tribe people, that just went to my mind. They're not fire dancers for they didn't dance. But it was a great show, what made it more great is that a foreign audience was invited to try the fire. Of course he needs to take off his shirt and he did! Voila! HOT GUY! HOT Guy on FIRE! Oh Common! hahahahahah...Okay I'm being maarti now, forgive me. Anyway, it was a great show, the guy really cooperates in whatever they ask him to do and he was good too! Then some picture taking again, bought some souvenirs and off we took a cab back to the MRT and it took us 45 mins to reach our station in Novena.

At that time I was in my mood swings. I had my supposedly dinner with a special person which was adjusted from 8pm to 11:30pm. This time I made one regretful decision that would always lead me to ask the question "WHAT IF?"  A lot said I made the wrong move AGAIN! No other stories to tell but to cut the long story short - I screwed up a dinner! I ditched him! Unintentionally, I was just so tired. Go ahead, judge me...besides I guess it's over now. That's how my 2nd night in Singapore ended...I'm in trouble and I'm sorry. BUT I had fun with my sisters! That could be enough...I'm with them!
