It's a normal day for me and my parents and we just decided to drove off to Tagaytay...not to party and all but still since it was a Holy Tuesday we went to visit some chapel / church in Tagaytay. I was born catholic and my parents are very much inclined with Catholic religion. To be fair I decided to go on a road trip with them.

I am still hoping and praying that one day they'll go with me to attend Christian services. Remember it's not in the religion, it's in the relationship that we have in Christ and in God.

Walkway : Reflections on the Station of the Cross

This has been my second year attending walkway reflections at Bonifacio high street and I always came here for two reasons...to reflect on holy week and to unite with my friends.

Last April 1, a get together happened for my very close college buddies, we had our time again and we went for a reflection too and of course the untold story of how the proposal happened...:)

Here are some pictures that we had...it was a very great night for all of us...for me, I know I reflected well. I asked for the forgiveness of my sins especially being envious...then I know I am okay now...I feel great after everything hat happened and I still believe that "Everything happens for a reason"

It's time to give up and surrender all our worries to God. Jesus saved us and we need not to experience his painful experience to be saved...we are already saved! Thanks to HIM!

Hope you all had a great week. Happy Easter!

Guardians of the SEA

I saw this picture at FB and couldn't help but notice how beautiful life is under the sea...

This is one of the greatest creatures we can see...I am a traveler and I'd love to meet them too, not just the destination, not just the people, not just to taste the food, but to see the CREATURES too...they are considered as WONDERS OF THE SEA. :)

Here's an article about the photo...

"Recent headline of the San Francisco Chronicle. Female humpback whale who had become entangled in a spiderweb of crab traps and line weighted down by hundreds of pounds of traps that caused her to struggle to stay afloat. She also had hundreds of yards of line rope wrapped around her body, tail, torso and a line tugging in her mouth.

A fisherman spotted her just east of the Farallon Islands and radioed an environmental group for help. Within a few hours, the rescue team arrived and determined that she was so bad off, the only way to save her was to dive in and untangle her. They worked for hours and eventually freed her.

When she was free, the divers say she swam in what seemed like joyous circles. She then came back to each and every diver, one at a time, and nudged them, pushed them gently around as she was thanking them.

Some said it was the most incredibly beautiful experience of their lives. The guy who cut the rope out of her mouth said her eyes were following him the whole time, and he will never be the same.

May you, and all those you love, be so blesses and fortunate to be surrounded by people who will help you get untangled from the things that are binding you. And, may you always know the joy of giving and receiving gratitude."

This season and not just this season...may we always remember how HE took our place. Let's be thankful to Jesus and allow the joy of giving be experienced by others as well. Let's all be thankful and appreciate what and who we have. Advance Happy Easter to everyone. :)

Temporary Home

I heard this song last night and it kept ringing in my head. The story in the song and even the message itself is very inspiring. :)

Let's believe life on earth is our temporary home...our lives today will take us to our REAL HOME...we'll have our real home SOMEDAY...They said it's near, I'm not sure what to feel...FRIGHTENED...HAPPY...but all I know is somehow I'm excited. In this temporary home me and my family are always apart. my siblings are on different part of the world and as much as we all wanted to meet up we just can't. TIME - GEOGRAPHY - WORK stops us. :(

In our real home it makes me feel excited for I know there will be no more boundaries in all of us. :)

He Looks Up And Says, With A Smile Upon His Face,

"This Is My Temporary Home

This Is Just A Stop, On The Way To Where I'm Going.
I'm Not Afraid Because I Know This Is My

She Needs A Little Help, Got Nowhere To Go.
She's Lookin' For A Job, Lookin' For A Way Out,
Because A Half-way House Will Never Be A Home.
At Night She Whispers To Her Baby Girl,
"Someday We'll Find Our Place Here In This World."

"This Is Our Temporary Home.
It's Not Where We Belong.
Windows And Rooms That We're Passin' Through.
This Is Just A Stop, On The Way To Where We're Going.

The Room Is Filled With People He Loves.
And He Whispers Don't Cry For Me,
I'll See You All Someday.
He Looks Up And Says, "I Can See God's Face."

"This Is My Temporary Home
It's Not Where I Belong.
Windows And Rooms That I'm Passin' Through.
This Was Just A Stop,on The Way To Where I'm Going.
I'm Not Afraid Because I Know... This Was
My Temporary Home."

Graduated from heartbreak academy

If there are graduates this summer then I guess I am a graduate too...only from HEARTBREAK ACADEMY...

I am not denying I recently undergone a heartbreak from THE ALMOST PERFECT GUY who is not THE RIGHT GUY for me. Today I had my reflection at WALKWAY and I prayed for relief. I know I'm okay even the past few months for I'm keeping my faith up to God and leaving the writings of my love story all up to HIM. I've a couple of books about how people focuses on relationship with an opposite sex rather than to God and I'm quite guilty on that too.

But after my reflection today at WALKWAY I'm definite I am over the heartbroken stage, the jealousy, and the "I wish I was in that place". I am totally over him and all I wanted is happiness, more happiness for him and his soon to be Mrs...It was funny tough I never intended to focus on that but God helped me too. I will no loner be a hater for them instead they will be an inspiration to me that such LOVE do really exist especially when GOD is in the center.

I used to dedicate this song to him...

and now I am happily singing this song...

Here are some inspirational quotes for those others who experienced / is still experiencing / someday will experience HEARTBREAK and will enter to HEARTBREAK ACADEMY.

"Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.: - Dr. Seuss

"Letting go isn't about giving up. It's about accepting that there are certain things that cannot be." - Unknown

"We must be willing to let go of the life we have planned, so as to accept the life that is waiting for us." - Joseph Campbell

"True love doesn't have a happy ending, because true love never ends. Letting go is one way of saying I Love You." - Unknown

"Letting go isn't one-time thing, it's something you have to do everyday, over and over again." - Dawson's Creek

"People always leave." - One Tree Hill

"There's no need to miss someone from your past. There's a reason they didn't make it to your future." - Unknown

"It happens to everyone as they grow up. You find out who you are and what you want, and then you realize that people you've known forever don't see things the way you do. So you keep the wonderful memories, but find yourself moving on." - Nicholas Sparks

"You must make a decision that you are going to move on. It won't happen automatically. You will have to rise up and say, 'I don't care how hard this is, I don't care how disappointed I am, I'm not going to let this get the best of me. I'm moving on with my life.'" - Joel Osteen.

"A very wise man once told me that you can't look back - you just have to put the past behind you, and find something better in your future.: - Jodi Picoult

Just always remember:
GRADUATE and LEARN from it! You can never graduate if you don't learn from the past...

WHAT'S with APRIL?

Ahhhhhh...Finally, APRIL - month of peaceful workload for me at the hotel...but less salary for less service charge hahahah. This is the month where we can actually have extra off or even allow us to have leaves. Lucky for me, today is my day off and I'll be on leave until Tuesday. :D I know 3 days is quite short for there will be holy week for the others but for me this is long and a rest for me already.

WHAT's with APRIL???

Today I'll be attending the WALKWAY: Reflections on the Station of the cross at Bonifacio High Street with college super buddies...hahaha I miss them so much and working in a busy schedule and living away from one another from North to South it's hard to see each and everyone - schedule won't let us meet so we always need to plan ahead of time. Finally, for 2012 we'll all be meeting *excited*. I would also like to invite everyone to have a time to reflect at Walkway, it'll be open from Palm Sunday (April 1) to Easter Sunday (April 8). Here's a link to details about WALKWAY: Reflections and a video from last year's Walkway 2011. :)

WALKWAY : Reflections on the station of the cross. Remember how HE took our place.

APRIL FOOL'S DAY!

I was sleeping in my good night sleep and suddenly my phone alarm for my wake up call. I read the messages I had on my phone and a message that made me get out of my bed and turn the pc on goes like this.

"ui! yung pic mo sa fb may nagedit ska pinagtripan pa. Nakatag lng sakin eh, San kaya nakuha pic mo na un? Saka ansagwa! Dame nga nagcomment ehh! Nasa top news pa!"

and as I re-read the message again and dropped down every messages here's the continuation...

"PRAKTIS LANG! :D
